CENTER OF TESTING ANALYSIS SERVICE HCMC (CASE) is a public scientific and technological service unit under the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. CASE was established in 1985 in a scientific and technical cooperation program between the governments of Vietnam and France.

For the purpose of expanding the demand on analysis and testing of customer in Mekong Delta River, the center established a branch in Can Tho, located at F2-67, F2-68, Road 6, Phu Thu Ward, Cai Rang District, website: www.case.com.vn.

According to Decree 115/2005/ND-CP issued on 9/05/2005, The Center has shifted its structure into a scientific and technological organization which is responsible to the government for its operation.

The Center has operated as an administrative organization with all of its expenditure was under its own self-control according to Decree 43/2006/ND-CP issued on 4/15/2006.

The cooperation Program was ended, The Center had operated as an administrative organization of HCM City, and its annual expenditure was funded from HCM City’s budget.

Center of Analytical Services and Experimentation of HCM City was inaugurated on February 1990, and the laboratory started its operations in the scope of this program.
